Congratulations goes out this month to former champion Steve Jakubowski on winning his third SSO Championship by defeating Jesse Bowersock in the final match 204 to 193, taking home our top prize of $1000.00, the trophy and earning 10 more points towards our BOTY standings. Steve qualified 5th this month with a total pin fall of 1379 and an average of 230 in the qualifying rounds.
Congratulations also to Jesse Bowersock on his second place finish, winning $500 and picking up 8 points towards BOTY. Jesse was our high qualifier with an average of 252 and 1511 total for his first 6 games including a perfect 300 game. Jesse then, as many before him, saved is lowest game of the day for the final match.
This month's tournament was held at Lodge Lanes where we requested the Kegel Bourbon Street oiling pattern. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.

The Tournament Average was 210, or 2 pins lower than our previous month.
High Qualifier this month was Jesse Bowersock with 1511 for 6 games, averaging better than 252.
It took a total of 1323 and an average of 221 or better to make our regular cut line set by Steve Mrakitsch.
We had 66 bowlers in attendance this month. There were 21 super seniors and 5 super super seniors with the rest of our regular seniors.
We also had 23 bowlers advance to our Elimination Rounds, 10 SS and 1 SSS along with the rest of our regular seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
There were two 300 games during qualifying. The first one was by Mitch Jabczenski in game one and the other was by Jesse Bowersock in game 5.
