Congratulations to Dave Schumacher on winning his 1st SSO Championship by defeating HOF'r  Gerald Johnson in a very close final match of 190 to 189 taking home the top prize of $1000.00, the trophy and 10 points toward this season's BOTY category. Dave qualified 9th with an average of 206 and total pin fall of 1234 to make it into the Elimination rounds. 

Congratulations also goes out to HOF'r Gerald Johnson on his second place finish. Gerald received $500.00 for our 2nd place payout and 8 points for his BOTY standings. Johnson qualified in 5th spot and averaged better than 210 with a total pin fall of 1257. 

This month's tournament was held at Lodge Lanes where we requested the Kegel Beaten Path pattern. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend. 

We had a tie of 179 in the second round and Rick Parschen prevailed in the 9th and 10th frame roll off.

This month's tournament average was 193.

We had 49 bowlers in attendance this month. There were 15 super seniors, 4 super super seniors and 3 women with the rest of our seniors. 

We also had 19 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds, 5 SS, 1 SSS with the rest of our seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.

It took a total of 1179 and an average of 197 or better to make our regular cut line set by Lesia Lambert.

High Qualifier was Steve Jakubowski with 1366 total pin fall with an average of 228 after his first 6 games. Steve was also a victim of the High Qualifiers jinx and lost in the first round of Eliminations.
