Doubles Results

Our 2nd 2019 Over / Under 50 Doubles exceeded all expectations. We were filled to capacity with 120 teams registered with paid deposits. We also had to create and organize a waitlist for the overflow due to the demand from all our bowlers wanting to participate. We ended up with 117 teams and everyone that wanted to bowl did. Three teams had to withdraw the morning of the tournament due to a variety of circumstances. Needless to say it was a huge success. Non of this could have happened without the support of our bowlers, both above and below our 50 year old age group.

A very special thank you to our Executive Director, Lew Ansara for his vision and hard work along with the hard work and dedication of all the SSO Directors and volunteers who stepped up to make this happen. Finally with out our sponsors we would never be able to come so close to the $30,000.00 prize fund that we did. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE

Congratulations to the team of Larry Walker and Ronnie Sparks Jr. on winning our Bonus, Special Event, by defeating the team of Mostafa Nejatbakhsh and Omar Cruz in the final match with a team score of 447 to 416. Congratulations also to Team Mostafa on their second place finish. At the end of Round 1 of Eliminations we had to break a tie of 414 with a 9th and 10th frame rolloff. Team Goike prevailed and advanced against Team Goormastic.
