Congratulations to our past Champion Mike Calvin on his third SSO win, this time defeating Canadian SSS Nick Beelaard in a very close final match 248 to 242 to take home the $1000.00 first prize and throphy. Mike qualified outside the cut line in 19th and recieved a SS buy to advance to the Elimination Rounds. His total pin fall after 6 games was 1219 with an average in qualifying of 203. Mike's high game of the day came in game 3 of the Eliminations where he bowled a 252 being the highest in round 3. He also averaged 244 (733) for his last 3 games in the Eliminations.
Congratulations also goes out to our second place finisher Nick Beelaard SSS from Windsor Ontario. Nick qualified 8th overall with 1273 and an average of 212 average on these difficult scoring conditions. The USBC White 1 pattern played much more difficult than it sould have. Nick stayed alive up to the final match and bowled a losing 242 game taking home the $500 second place prize.
Great bowling to both finalists.
