Oct. 28,2017

We had an all time high of 87 bowlers this weekend!.

There were 20 super seniors, 6 super super seniors in attendance with one female bowler and there were three bowlers that did not finish. In our Elimination Rounds there were 28 bowlers. We had  6 SS, 1 SSS and one female. along with the rest of our seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.

The Tournament average this weekend was 196 with 3 DNF's . It took a total of 1287 and an average of 215 or better to make our regular cut line set by Mostafa Nejatbakhsh. High Qualifier was Todd Sim with 1403 and an average of 234 after his 6 games.

There were two regular seniors, three super seniors and 1 super, super seniors and 1 female below the cut line that advanced to Eliminations. Joe Smart and Mike Snow were the two regular seniors, Sandy Schultz, Richard Kurt and Sam Girgenti were our 3 super seniors below the cut line. Only one SSS can advance below the cut line and the top SSS was Ed Austreng advancing by just 2 pins over Dave Berhardt and only 5 pins over Nick Beelaard making for a very close fight to advance by those three SSS bowlers.

There were no honor scores but both Gary Schluchter and Joe Smart had 280 games.
