Congratulations to our past finalist, Frank Camilleri for winning this months SSO Championship by defeating Jeff Suma SS in the final match 222 to 204 and taking home the top $1000.00 prize and trophy. Frank qualified in 12th spot this month with 1253 and an average of 209 after his first 6 games. Franks highest game of the day was 278 in round 4 just befor the final match.
Congratulatons also goes out to Jeff Suma on his second place finish. Jeff qualified a little higher in 7th with and average of 215 with a total pin fall of 1291. Jeff's highest game for the day was 256 in game one of qualifying and only had one game under 200. Steady bowling all day

This month's tournament took place at Wayne Bowl, Wayne Mi.. We requested the Kegel Middle of the Road oiling pattern. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
We had 63 bowlers this weekend. There were 26 super seniors and 7 super super seniors in attendance. In our Elimination Rounds there were 22 bowlers. We had 26 SS, 7 SSS along with the rest of our seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
The Tournament average this weekend was 195. It took a total of 1250 and an average of 208 or better to make our regular cut line set by Dave Patchen.
There were two regular seniors, three super seniors and 1 super, super seniors below the cut line that advanced to Eliminations. Marcus Spigner and Joe Smart were the two regular seniors, Lenny Kersten, Bob Goike and Edwin Peart were our 3 super seniors and Len Cianciolo was our highest SSS below the cut line.
There were no honor scores.
The SSO will be providing more BONUS tournaments with a wider variety of formats in 2017. We'll be bringing you four bonus events this year.
