Congratulations once again to Larry Walker for winning his fifth SSO Tournament beating Jim Magolan 247 to 212 in the all left hander final match. Larry took away the first place trophy and the $1000.00 top prize. A congratulations also goes out to Jim on his second place finish.

This tournaments oiling condition at 300 Bowl was the "2015 GDUSBC Senior Masters Tournament" pattern.

High qualifier was Todd Sim from Canada with 1453 for six games averaging over 242. Congratulations also to Todd on his 3rd place finish.

One Senior and two Super Seniors out of the cut made it into the Elimination rounds. This month we advanced 22 bowlers out of our field of 74 bowlers. Nearly 1/3rd (1 in 3.3 ratio) of the field cashed. Low to cash was $140. Should the lower end of the prize fund be higher? We welcome your feedback.

Larry qualified 2nd while Jim qualified 10th. Our last place qualifier was Jim Lauricella - SS finishing in 19th spot. John Kurtz was our senior out of the cut to advance and Nick Smith and John Ruggerio III were our Super Seniors to get a bye. Low average to cash was just over 203.
We had one 300 game by Scott Waterstraat in game 3 and a 299 by Todd Sim in game 4. The high series was 792 by Todd during his last three games of qualifying.
We had 74 Bowlers participate with 26 Super Seniors in attendance making up over 35% of the field. 8 Super Seniors made the elimination rounds as well. Some of our regular bowlers did not attend due to the local Masters Qualifying rounds taking place at the same time.
The SSO would like to thank everyone for coming out to compete.
The Senior Singles Open would also like to thank our sponsors; Red Robin, Budweiser and Turbo 2 in 1 Grips for their support of our tournaments.
