Congratulations this month to Carl Bishop on winning his 2nd SSO Singles Championship by defeating HOF'r Frank Camillerii in the final match, 223 to 189 taking home the top prize of $1200.00, the trophy and 10 points toward this season's BOTY category. Carl qualified  21st place with an average of 225 and total pin fall of 1352 to make it into the Elimination rounds. See Rule 7 for qualifying details.  Carl picked up the pace in the Eliminations averaging better than 234 for his next 5 games.

Congratulations also goes out to Frank on his 2nd place finish. Camilleri took home our $600.00 prize and 8 points for his BOTY standings. Camilleri qualified a little higher than Carl in 4th with 1402 and a 234 average.

This month's tournament was held at Galaxy Lanes where we requested their house pattern. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend. 

This month's tournament average was 210 again.

We had 101 bowlers in attendance this month. There were only 5 SSS, 33 SS and 4 female bowlers with the rest of our seniors. 

We also had 32 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds, 1 SSS, 13 SS with the rest of our seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.

It took a total of 1339 and an average of 223 or better to make our regular cut line set by Greg McCreadie..

High Qualifier was Jeff Austreng with 1464 total pin fall with an average of 244 after his first 6 games. As so often happens, Jeff was unable to get past the 1st round becoming one more victim to the high qualifiers curse.

We had 1 300 game by Gerald Little coming out of the gate in Game 1and 11 in a row 290 game by Robert Smith in game 5 of qualifying.
