The 2021 Over / Under 50 Doubles held at Thunderbowl Lanes is now our most successful event. Not surprisingly the Tournament was fully booked with teams and individuals on our wait list. We welcomed new Senior and under 50 bowlers as well. We are very please with the communities response especially with the Covid-19 issues. We're very pleased also how well our team pulled together to make this event our best, yet at the same time we know we have to do better going forward. We appreciate everyone's feedback. 

Congratulations to our ladies team of past champion Stacey Timmer and Toary Taylor on winning our Bonus, Special Event, SSO Over / Under 50 Thunderbowl tournament by defeating team Tony Stipcak and Dan Jordan in the final match 434 to 377. Stacey and Toary took away the $5000.00 top prize and trophies as well as Stacey obtaining another 10 points towards our 2021 Bowler of the Year race. In addition to these prizes they each received a new spare ball. Our champions qualified in 14th spot with a total pin fall of 2732 and a combined average of better than 228.

We'd like to also congratulate our second place team of Tony Stipcak (SS) and Dan Jordan on taking home our $2500.00 prize. Team Stipcak qualified 12th also averaging better than 228 with a total team score of 2739 or 7 pins better than our winners. Tony gets 8 points towards our BOTY race.

This month's tournament was held at Thunderbowl Lanes where we requested their house oiling pattern. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.

High Qualifiers this month was the team of  Brad Gray and Dan Pollak with 2861 for 6 games, averaging better than a combined 238. 

It took a total of 2675 and a combined average of 223 or better to make our regular cut line set by the team of Craig and Mike Bosco.

We had a record of 102 teams in attendance. We also had 30 teams in our Elimination Rounds.. This provided aprox. 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.

There were 6 honor scores: 

Stacey Timmer shot an 816 in her last 3 games of qualifying.
Stacey Timmer also shot 300 in her last game of qualifying.
Mike Calhoun had a 300 during round 2 of our elimination rounds.
Carleton Chambers shot 299 in game 3 of qualifying.
Brian Ivey had a 298 in game 2 and a 297 in game 5 of qualifying.
