SSO Oak Lane Singles
The SSO would like to congratulate Duane Henderson on winning his 1st SSO Championship Title by defeating Dennis Johnson in a close final match 225 to 223. Duane picked up the first place prize of $1000.00 the trophy and earned 10 points for his BOTY
Congratulations also goes out to Dennis Johnson on winning the second place prize of $500.00. Dennis qualified 22nd with an average of 223 for his first 6 games. Johnson will receive 8 points for his BOTY Standings.
This month’s tournament was held at Oak Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month’s tournament average was 207.
We had 80 bowlers in attendance. There were 10 SSS, 27 SS and 3 Female bowlers with the rest of our seniors.
It took a total of1346 and an average of 224 or better to make our regular cut line set by Greg McCreadie.
We also had 28 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
For honor scores we had two 800 series: an 804 by Dale Strike SS and an 800 by Dale Hoffmeister.
There was one 300 game by Jerry Sikora, a 299 by David Danielak and a 298 by Brad Gray.
