SSO Westland O/U Doubles Results
Congratulations to the doubles team of Marty Sanders and Zack Colosimo on winning the final match, 406 to 389 and taking home the top prize of $5000.00 and the first place eagle trophies. Marty will gain 10 points towards his BOTY standings. Team Sanders qualified in 29th after the first six games before making their way up to the final match. Marty and Zack had a team total pinfall of 2651 and an average of 221.
Congratulations also goes out to the runner up of Dave Sill and Jalen Mosley on winning the second place prize of $3000.00. Team Sill qualified in 12th after their first six games with a team average of 226 and team total of 2711. Dave and Jalen only advanced to the 3rd round by just 3 team pins.
This month’s tournament was held at Westland Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
High Qualifier Team was Brian Newcomb and Nevin Alexis with 2810 total pin fall with an average of 234 after his first 6 games.
We had 188 Teams in attendance this month.
It took a total of 2634 and an average of 220 or better to make our regular cut line set by Past Doubles Champion’s; Larry Walker and Ronnie Sparks Jr.
We also had 32 teams in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
