SSO Bonanza Singles Results
Congratulations this month to HOF’r Larry Walker SS on winning his 10th SSO Championship in the final match defeating HOFr and 3 time Champion Jeff Suma SS 258 to 245. Larry took home the $1100.00. First place prize, the trophy and 10 points towards BOTY. Larry qualified 4th with a 242 average.
Congratulations also goes out to runner up Jeff Suma SS on winning the second place prize of $550.00. Jeff qualified in 11th with an average of 238..
Finally a Special Thank You once again to all our members on another 100 plus turnout. That’s 3 in a row with 100 plus!
This month’s tournament was held at Bonanza Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month’s tournament average was 216..
High Qualifier was Greg McCreadie with 1507 his first 6 games.
We had 101 bowlers in attendance this month making it 3 tournaments in a row with 100+ entries.
It took a total of 1393 and an average of 232 or better to make our regular cut line set by Pete Kaczmarczyk SS.
We also had 33 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
There were two 300 games and two 800 series, one by Bill Essman SS in game one and the other by Kenny Allen SS in game 6. Essman bowled 824 in his first 3 games while Allen shot his in the last three games for 836.
