Bonanza Lanes – February 14, 2026

Congratulations to Randy Warnken on his 3rd SSO title as he defeated Alex Robinson 212-199 at Bonanza Lanes in Warren. In the championship match, both players caught a double in the first 3 frames, however, Robinson, who struggled on the left lane, left the PBA washout (1-3-4-6-7) in the fourth frame which was ultimately his downfall. Warnken capitalized by throw a 3-bagger in frames 5.6.7 and was able to pull away. Warnken received the first-place check of $1,100, while Robinson, looking for his first title, collected $600 for second. We had another great turnout of 129 bowlers at Bonanza, one our most popular centers. Thank you everyone!

During qualifying, Ken Wyatt led the way with an impressive 6 game block of 1494, followed closely by Michael Haggitt with 1440. High game of the day was shot by Alex Robinson with 290.

The cut to make the top 32 was 1286 (Rob Slizewski). Our extras out of the cut to move on in the elimination rounds: In the Senior Division (50+): John Taylor (1283); In the Super Senior division (60+) Gerald Johnson (1281), Don Nyenhuis (1276), Larry Salvati (1249), Jim DePlanche (1243), and Darrin Greene (1243); In the super-super senior division (70+) Tony Stipcak (1266) and Arnie Goldman (1248); In the women’s division was Teri White (1276) and Sandy Schultz (1160).
