SSO Town and Country Lanes Singles Results
Congratulations this month to HOF’r Jeff Austreng with his second win this yearby defeating Jeff Kendall in the final match 227 to 193. Austreng took home the Trophy, the first place prize of $1000.00 and gaining 10 points in the BOTY standings. Jeff qualified 5th averaging 237 in his first 6 games and a total pin fall of 1419.
Congratulations also goes out to runner up Jeff Kendall on winning the second place prize of $500.00. Kendall qualified in 13th with an average of 227 for his first 6 games. Kendall will receive 8 points for his BOTY Standings.
This month’s tournament was held at Town and Country Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month’s tournament average was 206.
High Qualifier was Dale Hoffmeister with 1470 total pin fall with an average of 245 after his first 6 games. Sadly the high qualifiers curse prevailed for a third time in a row with the High Qualifier not making it to Round 2. He bowling his lowest game of the day in the first round. :o( Go figure!.
We had 77 bowlers in attendance this month. There were 12 SSS, 27 SS and 1 female with the rest of our seniors.
It took a total of 1340 and an average of 223 or better to make our regular cut line set by Gerald Johnson.
We also had 26 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
There was one perfect 300 game by Bruce Falcon in his last game of qualifying..
