Westland Bowl Grand Finals – December 6, 2025
Congratulations to Craig Bosco on winning his 1st SSO title as he defeated Hall of Famer Ken Wyatt 236-214 at Westland Bowl in Westland. In the championship match, both players couldn’t get strings of strikes going, however, the 5th frame proved to be the downfall for Wyatt as he went high and left the 4-6-7 split. Bosco struggled a little on the left lane, but managed to in the 8th, 9th, and 10th frame to close out the match. Bosco received the first-place check of $1,800, while Wyatt, looking for his 16th title, collected $1,400 for second. The stepladder finals began with Craig Johnson defeating Bill Bruce 230-185. Johnson went on beat the number three seed Jay Lang 198-183. In the semi-final match, Bosco defeated Johnson 233-175.
With the 2nd place finish, Wyatt received 10 Bowler of the Year points, which pulled him into a tie with Hall of Famer Mike Calvin, both accumulating 44 points during the year.
