Congratulations to Marty Sanders and Norman Smith on winning our inaugural Match-Up Doubles held at Lodge Lanes. Sanders and Smith defeated Mike Kereluk and Larry Walker 414-406 to take home the title. This was Sanders second SSO win, while Smith earned his first SSO title. The title match looked like a runaway until both Sanders and Smith opened in the 10th frame. Walker struck out in the 10th giving Kereluk a chance to win with a double. Mike got the first strike but left a 4 pin on his second shot ending the come back.

Hop on the Brian Newcomb train everyone! Brian captured his 1st SSO title last month at Astro Lanes, and continued his hot bowling at Woodland Lanes in Plymouth. In a tight final match, Newcomb defeated Jerry Sikora 268-257 to take home his second title and a check for $1,000. Sikora, looking for his 3rd SSO title, managed to find his way to the elimination round via the Super Seniors added outside of the cut and made the most of it with his 2nd place and received $500 for his efforts.

Congratulations to Brian Newcomb on his first SSO Title! Brian defeated Glenn Pilon 273-201 at our Astro Lanes Open in the final match. During the elimination rounds, Newcomb caught fire averaging 263 for the five rounds. Brian received a check for $1,000 for his win, while Pilon settled for the 2nd place check of $500.

The SSO would like to, once again, congratulate past champion and HOF'r Ken Wyatt on winning his 15th. SSO Championship Title by defeating past champion and HOF'r Frank Camilleri in the final match 245 to 195. Ken picked up the first place prize of $1000.00, the trophy and earned 10 points for his BOTY standings.

The SSO would like to congratulate Dennis Johnson and his partner Todd Stuart on winning this months JAX 60 O/U 50 Doubles by defeating HOF'r and past champion Brad Gray and his partner A.J. RICE, 465 to 460 in this close final match this weekend. Dennis and Todd will take home $5000.00 the trophies and Dennis will receive 10 points towards his BOTY total. Team Johnson qualified 27th with 2653 and a 221 average.

Frank picked up the first place prize of $1000.00, the trophy and earned 10 points for his BOTY standings. Camilleri qualified tied for 12th with 1413 and an average of 236.
