Congratulations to past champion Jerry Sikora for winning this years SSO Grand Finals by defeating Michael Haggitt 238 to 227. Jerry took home the first place trophy and the top prize fund of $1800. Sikora qualified in 15th for his first 6 games with a 232 average. Jerry picked up 10 points for his BOTY total.
The SSO would also like to congratulate Michael Haggitt on his second place finish, this time taking home the $1400 prize and the second place trophy. Michael qualified in 6th for his first 6 games with an average of 237 and total pin fall of 1420.
Also being our final tournament we would like to congratulate Larry Walker on winning this years SSO Bowler Of The Year. Larry obtained 46 points for this season.
This month's Grand Finals Tournament was held at Westland Bowl. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
We had 112 bowlers in attendance this month. There were 9 super seniors, 51 seniors and 5 female with the rest of our seniors. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
Michael Haggitt was our overall High Qualifier with the combined total of 2447 to determine the order of our stepladder finals.
There were two perfect 300 games, one each by Jim Magolanle during qualifying and a perfect game by Ron Bettin during the Elimination Rounds.
