The SSO would like to congratulate Stephen Krywy on winning his 1st SSO Championship Title by defeating John Shreve Jr. in the final match 201 to 146. Steve picked up the first place prize of $1000.00, the trophy and earned 10 points for his BOTY standings. Krywy qualified 11th with 1242 and an average of 207.
Congratulations also goes out to John Shreve Jr. on winning the second place prize of $500.00. Shreve qualified 4th with an average of 222 for his first 6 games. John will receive 8 points for his BOTY Standings.
This month's tournament was held at Woodland Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month's tournament average was 188, substantially lower than last month's 207.
We had 94 bowlers in attendance with the tournament booked full more than a week ahead and bowlers on a wait list. There were 11 SSS, 33 SS and 2 Female bowlers with the rest of our seniors.
It took a total of 1184 and an average of 197 or better to make our regular cut line set by Brian Whitsett.
We also had 33 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
