The SSO would like to congratulate past champion Dale Hoffmeister on winning his 2nd. SSO Championship Title by defeating Chuck Morris in the final match 268 to 237. Dale picked up the first place prize of $1000.00, the trophy and earned 10 points for his BOTY standings. Dale qualified 2nd with 1428 and an average of 238.
Congratulations also goes out to Chuck Morris on winning the second place prize of $500.00. Morris qualified on top with an average of 240 for his first 6 games. Chuck will receive 8 points for his BOTY Standings.
This month's tournament was held at Lodge Lanes. We would like to thank the management and staff for hosting our tournament this weekend.
This month's tournament average was 198.
We had 89 bowlers in attendance with the tournament. There were 12 SSS, 33 SS and 3 Female bowlers with the rest of our seniors.
It took a total of 1281 and an average of 214 or better to make our regular cut line set by Stacey Timmer.
We also had 32 bowlers in our Elimination Rounds. This provided a little better than 1 in 3 cashing ratio for the tournament.
